The aim of this study is to determine the most suitable post-processing routines enhance surface integrity components produced with Inconel 718 superalloy by additive manufacturing. were fabricated Direct Energy Deposition (DED) followed two typical methods: machining and heat treatment. effect sequence (machining + treatment or machining) corresponding effects on these investigated in terms finishing, microstructure, micro-hardness residual stresses. Finally, solutions manufacturing - post-process operations have been reported.
